This is at my in-laws’ cottage, and they are excellent gardeners! I love the blue ones. At my house, they’re mostly white, turning pink in late-summer. I need to figure out the right fertilizer to make them blue! I’m glad this brought back fond memories, Therese. ☺️
Closely and beautifully observed morning!
Thanks, Tom! It was an extension of my mindfulness practice. ☺️
Gorgeous !
Thanks Brenna! I had fun trying to describe the things that caught my attention. 😁
Gorgeous hydrangeas.
I love these plants, but have managed to kill 3 or 4 pots of them now.
My soil is too alkaline or too acid, one or the other.
The house I grew up in had the big old-fashioned blue ones lined up along our side fence.
The blooms were enormous and lasted so long.
So, your glorious photos reminded me of growing up in a house with these seriously beautiful flowers.
Thanks for the memories.

I believe it all has to do with acidic or alkaline soil. If you change that with hydrangeas, you change their colour.
