I will definitely be writing if I’m on the road! Where are you staying in Yuma, Yasmin? Yuma was my launch point for Baja, and it’s my home Planet Fitness! I would love to get back there again. 😁

Your writing transports me, your descriptions engaging all my senses! No one can know what your heart needs, but one paragraph stands clear for me, where you speak of feeling flat. That's seems, to me, to say volumes on what you most need from life. Thank you so much for sharing all this beauty. Best wishes on your journey, wherever it leads!

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful words, Shannon! I think you nailed it. I have to listen to what my body is telling me.

I’m glad I was able to bring you along to the riverbank and the ocean! Did the videos work? It was supposed to be a moose, a turtle, and several videos of the river. No one has mentioned them, so I’m not sure if they came through.

Your videos came through perfectly, and added so much depth and beauty (although your words were incredible). I'm now longing to "vagabond" with you!

I’m glad they worked! It was an experiment. Where is home for you?

Hi Liz, I voted for staying at home and writing because I am projecting my own exhaustion from too much travel over the past 7 years. So--take it with a grain of salt! I've been all over the USA and Mexico as well. Now I am in Maine and happy to be here, mainly because my aging mother is not doing well at all. I was shocked by how much her health has declined in a few weeks after yet another fall. She cracked some bone that they cannot do much about. The huge amount of pills she takes scares me! Yikes! Gotta persevere and be as positive as possible while dealing with my own health struggles. Worst insomnia ever! How we take such things as sleep for granted..... be well Jack

Thanks for your vote, Jack! I guess we all have our health struggles. I’m sorry to hear about your mom. She is lucky to have you! I hope you’re both on the mend.

An update. My mother could no longer take the high pain level, so the DRs finally convinced her to take much more potent (and FAR more effective) pain meds. She is no longer in so much pain.

Meanwhile, after being here in Maine since mid-April, I am getting ready to head to Mexico (by air) at the end of the month. I'll buy a one-way ticket so I can return if she takes a turn for the worse. I hope you are doing fine.

Sincerely, Jack

I’m so glad to hear your mom is feeling better, Jack! Where do you go in Mexico?

I usually fly to PV, and drive and hour or so north to a little beach town called "San Poncho." On the maps, it is called "San Fransisco." Poncho is a nickname for SF. I hope all is well, Liz.
